Younis Khan excluded from ODIs against Australia

Pakistan has announced their ODI squad for the series against Australia without their former captain and middle order experienced batsman Younis Khan.

 

Younis who made an ODI comeback last month during their tour of Sri Lanka since March 2013 was once again left from the team for their series at UAE. After this inclusion Khan’s aim to play World Cup next year which is being jointly held at Australia and New Zealand seems to be ended.

 

Apart from Younis Khan Pakistan has not included Saeed Ajmal who is facing ban from International Cricket Council (ICC) for his suspect bowling action.

 

Pakistan is playing one off T20s and three ODIs against Australia in UAE starting from October five at Dubai.

 

Pakistan ODI squad: Misbah-ul-Haq (capt), Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Akmal , Fawad Alam, Umar Amin, Asad Shafiq, Sohaib Maqsood, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, Raza Hasan, Mohammad Irfan, Anwar Ali, Wahab Riaz, Junaid khan
