Young cricketers, RCW get support from Rhinos, NCSS

Nepali Rhinos, a USA-based
cricket club, has provided financial assistance to two young cricketers and
Rising Cricket for Women (RCW) which is a club run by woman national cricketer
Aarati Bidari.

During a programme at the Great
Himalayan Cricket Academy (GHCA), national team middle order batsman Sharad
Vesawkar handed over a cheque of Rs 18,000 to young Mahesh Khatri and Sagar
Dhakal. The duo is currently undergoing training in GHCA. The provided amount
will cover their training cost for a year.


Likewise, Rhinos handed a cheque
of Rs 50, 000 to RCW which is coming up with a project of cricket academy in
Kathmandu aiming at the production of women cricketers. Nepali Cricket
Supporters Society (NCSS) also provided RCW with a cheque of Rs 27,500 for
their cause.


Rhinos also supported NCSS with
Rs 10, 000 for their contribution towards Nepali cricket as fans. NCSS has been
involving in volunteering projects during the national and international
matches at the TU Stadium.
