Nepal U19 scored yet another 300 plus score against Kuwait U19 during their second match of ACC u19 Premier League at Doha Entertainment City Ground, Kuwait City on Monday.
With the help of talented all-rounder Aarif Sheikh’s 87 runs Nepal piled up a huge score of 325 runs losing their seven wickets in allocated 50 overs in the match. Nepal had piled up a huge score of 321 runs agaisnt Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Kuwait U19 won the toss and elected to field first. The captain’s decision seemed to be right as they were able to bundle Nepali to nine runs losing their three wickets in 4.2 overs including the wicket of Shankar Rana for zero who had made 89 runs against Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Then Aarif Sheikh came to bat at number five. He put on 94 runs partnership with his captain Raju Rijal for the fourth wicket. Sheikh was the highest run scorer for Nepal who made 87 runs in 111 balls with six fours.
Apart from Sheikh, Saurav Khanal remained not out on 64 runs from 35 balls, Sandeep Sunar made 48 while Dipendra Airee played an aggressive inning of 48 runs in 20 balls with two fours and four sixes.
