White House honours, chips in for NCA

Himalayan White House College on Thursday honoured the national cricket team with Rs 101,000.

College CEO Yubaraj Sharma and National Sports Council Member Secretary Yubaraj Lama handed over the cheque to national team skipper Paras Khadka and team members.

Nepal had won the ICC World Cricket League Division-III title in Bermuda on May 5 with a five-wicket victory over Uganda. The entry into the Division-III final also gave Nepal a place in the 2014 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Apart from felicitating the national team, White House also chipped in a cash of Rs 25,000 for National Cricket Academy (NCA) — which is currently running under the Cricket Association of Nepal and organising various cricketing activities that inludes NCA U-12 Youth Programme and SLC Programme.
