White House International College on Monday awarded former national team skipper Binod Das with scholarships worth Rs 400,000.
Das, who had been studying at White House since +2 studies, was given a two-year scholarship to complete his MBA studies at the college. Das had recently announced his retirement from cricket following the conclusion of the Phil Hughes Tribute Match at the TU Stadium on April 11.
The college awarded Das with the scholarships during its 14th anniversary. White House also honoured national team skipper Paras Khadka for bringing laurels to the country after leading Nepal to their maiden appearance in the ICC World Twenty20 which came in 2014 in Bangladesh.
Paras, a former White House student, was honoured with Rs 200,000. Higher Secondary Education Board Vice-president Chaitanya Prasad Sharma and White House Chairman Yubaraj Sharma handed over the cheque to Paras.
