West Indies make it 2-2

West Indies won the fifth and final One Day International (ODI) against New Zealand with the margin of 203 runs and draw the five match series 2-2 held at Hamilton on Wednesday.

 

New Zealand won the toss and asked tourists to bat first.

 

West made a huge score of 363 runs in fifty overs with the loss of four wickets. Kirk Edwards who made his maiden century in ODI scored 123 runs in 108 balls.

 

Likewise Captain Dwayne Bravo also scored 106 runs in 108 balls. Bravo who scored his second century in ODI was elected as man of the match scored 12 fours and three sixes.

 

Chasing the huge target of 364 New Zealand was all out for 160 runs in 29.5 overs. Corey Anderson was the highest run scorer for New Zealand who made 29 runs.

 

Nikita Miller of West Indies took four wickets for his team in 10 overs conceding 45 runs.

 

Now New Zealand and West Indies will play two T20 international series on January 11 at Auckland and on January 15 at Wellington.
