Australian all rounder Shane Watson left the field with the soreness in his right groin during the second session of the Boxing Day test match against England on Wednesday.
Watson who was running to bowl a delivery felt some difficulty in his groin and after consulting his captain Michael Clarke left the field immediately.
Cricket Australia later tweeted saying Watson has some problem in his groin and is getting consult with medical staff. The decision of his possibility to play in the remaining days will be decided later after the consultations with medical team.
Watson who returned to the field and fielded at slip during the final session of the day is not still clear whether he can bowl again in the match or not.
It has not still been clear about Watson’s detail problem of injury. But it has been known that there is doubt of playing him in the last and final test match to be held in Sydney that starts from January three.
