Former captain Daniel Vettori and Marting Guptil will be missing New Zealand’s tour of Bangladesh. The New Zealand’s cricket board confirmed after their team selection for their series against Bangladesh in Bangladesh.
Opening batsman Martin Guptil was ruled out of the tour against Bangladesh because of his ankle injury. While former captain Daniel Vittori will be missing the entire season after undergoing an operation on his recurring Achilles tendon problem. This problem has also arise threatens of Vettori’s end of 16 years International career in cricket.
The selectors has given chance to two uncapped players Ish Sodhi, a spinner and Corey Anderso, an allrounder for their series in Bangladesh when they announced 15 man test squad on Friday.
Bangladesh and New Zealand will play their first test match at Chittagong on October 9-13 and second test on October 21-25.
New Zealand cricket board will be announcing their squad for three ODIs and a possible Twenty20 International later.
