Three series in a row for Bangladesh

Bangladesh
made yet another history after defeating South Africa by nine wicket in Duck
Worth Lewis system in third and final One Day International which was rain hit
match held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong on Wednesday.

Bangladesh
won the series by 2-1 and this is Bangladesh first ODI series win over South
Africa and third in a row. Bangladesh had earlier clean swept Pakistan in three
match ODI series while defeated India by 2-1.   

Chasing
a target of 169 runs in 40 overs Bangladesh meet the target in 26.1 overs losing
their only one wicket. Their win was made possible as Soumya Sarkar who was
awarded with Man of the match and Man of the series award made 90 runs in 75
balls with 13 fours and a six. Sarkar added 154 runs in 24.4 overs with another
opener Tamim Iqbal who remained not out on 61 runs in 77 balls with seven
boundaries to help Bangladesh make good start to seal the match and series in
their name.

Earlier
tourist South Africa could just made 168 runs in 40 overs losing their nine
wickets. JP Duminy was the highest run scorer for South Africa who made 51 runs
in 51 balls. Likewise David Miller added 44 runs.

South
African inning was destroyed by left arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan who took three
wickets in eight overs conceding 33 runs. Likewise Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel
Hossain also booked two wickets each in their name.

Now
home team Bangladesh will play two test match series starting from July 21 at
Chittagong.
