Tendulkar to retire after his 200th test

Legendary batsman from India, Sachin Tendulkar has announced to end up his 24 years long cricketing carrier.

 

Tendulkar, world’s most respected cricket player will retire from all forms of cricket after he will play his 200th test match next month against West–Indies.

 

40 years old Sachin who had retired from one day international matches in December 2012 will retire from tests also after he will play 200th test matches against West Indies at home.

 

Tendulkar is the highest run scorer in both test matches and one day internationals. Tendulkar has played 463 ODIs and has scored 18,426 runs with 49 centuries. His highest ODI run is 200 not out.

 

Likewise Little Master has played 198 test matches and has made 15,837 runs. He has 51 centuries in his name.

 

Tendulkar has many records in his name. He is the only batsman to reach 100 international centuries. 

 

Tendulkar made his international debut in the year November 1989 when he was just 16 years old. “It has been a great honor to have played for my country. I am looking forward to play my 200th Test matches at home soil and I call it a day” Tendulkar said.
