Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal missed a century as he was out on 95 runs during the first day of second and final test match against New Zealand.
Bangladesh made 228 runs with the loss of five wickets before the rain stopped the play after the tea.
While rain stopped play, captain Mushfiqur Rahim is not out on 14 and Shaqib Al Hasan was out on 20.
Bangladesh captain won the toss and elected to bat first.
Iqbal played some brilliant shot but got two life as New Zealand fielders missed easy catches. Iqbal hit 17 boundaries and played 153 ball.
Marshall Auyb also made 41 runs while Mominul Haque also contributed 47 runs with the bat.
First test match of the two test match series ended in draw.
