West Indies mystery off spinner Sunil Narine has pulled himself out of the squad for upcoming World Cup 2015 which is starting after 19 days jointly in Australia and New Zealand.
Narine who was banned from bowling in competitive cricket because of his illegal bowling action has been working for his remedial bowling action.
Narine was suspected for his bowling action during Champions League T20 cricket tournament while playing from Kolkata Knight Riders. After his bowling was found illegal in two matches of Champions League including the semi-final against Hobart Hurricanes he was banned to bowl and was not included in the final against Chennai Super Kings.
Narine informed about pulling out himself from West Indies squad for World Cup to West Indies Cricket Board. “Playing for Trinidad and Tobago and winning the NAGICO Super50 has been a positive sign but going to World Cup is a different situation. I think this will be too soon to return to competitive cricket in International level. So I want to make it a bit delay and make me 100 percent confident to play in international arena. So I want to withdraw myself from the squad of World Cup,” Narine wrote in a media release made by West Indies Cricket Board.
