Former English fast bowler Stephen Harmision has announced his retirement from all form of cricket from today.
Harmision who has made his international test debut in the year 2002, took a total of 226 test wickets in 63 test matches. The 34 years old veteran’s best bowling figure was seven for 12 against West Indies in the year 2004 at Jamaica.
Harmision has informed that he will be now focusing in coaching. “I will be taking a coaching class in the winter so that I can use all my experiences in supporting and nurturing future talent” expressed Harmision.
Harmision took 17 wickets in five test matches for England against Australia in the year 2005 Ashes where England won the Ashes series for the first time after 18 years.
