Sri Lanka are in high note as Kumar Sangakara scored a brilliant unbeaten 160 runs in the first day of second and the last test match against Bangladesh at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong on Tesday.
Sri Lanka won the toss in the match and elected to bat first. Sri Lanka was able to pile a big score at the end of the day one. They have made 314 runs with the loss of five wickets on the stumps of day one.
Former captain Kumar Sangakar stole the day from Bangladesh as he scored not out 160 runs. Sangakara played 245 balls and hit 19 fours and three sixes.
Apart from Sangakara Mahela Jayawardene also scored 72 runs with six fours.
