South Africa takes 29 runs lead on day one against Pakistan

With the help of Imran Tahir’s first five wicket haul South Africa takes lead of lead of 29 runs at the end of the first day of second and final test match against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi.


Leg spinner Tahir who is playing his first test match since November 2011 took his career best 5-32 in 13 over Pakistan was all out on 99.


Dale Steyn who passed his fitness test on Wednesday morning as he suffered tightness in his right hamstring also took three for 38.


Shan Masood was the highest run scorer for Pakistan who scored 21 runs. Four batsman of Pakistan could not even open an account.


On the reply South Africa made 128 runs for the loss of three wickets at the end of the day.


Captain Graeme Smith is not out on 67 runs while night watch man Dale Steyn is not out on three runs at the end of the day one.
