Hotel Soaltee Crownee Plaza is organising the 15th Solatee Crowne Plaza Super Sixes from Thursday.
In what is so far the biggest corporate event in Nepalese cricket, 25 teams will try their luck in the league-cum-knockout tournament to be played at the Tribhuvan University Stadium grounds from October 24-29.
A total of 42 five-over matches will be played inside six days with two teams from eight pools making it to the pre-quarterfinals. The semi-finals and final is scheduled in the last day.
The participating teams include Nabil Bank, Pappu Construction and Morang Auto Works in Group ‘A’, Commerz & Trust Bank, Global IME Bank and Nepal Bank are in Group ‘B’, Standard Chartered Bank, Laxmi Bank and NMB Bank are in Group ‘C’, while Sipradi Trading, KIST Bank and Nagarik Publication are in Group ‘D’.
Group ‘E’ comprises of Siddhartha Bank, Century Bank and ICFC Finance with Kantipur Media Group, NIC-Asia Bank and Sanima Bank making Group ‘F’. Signature Premium, Civil Bank and Embassy of India are in Group ‘G’, while Citizens Bank, Machhapuchhre Bank, Soaltee Crowne Plaza and Eastern Motors are in Group ‘H’.
