South African captain Grame Smith reach nine thousands runs test match during the second day of second and final test match against Pakistan at Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
Smith is the only second batsman from South Africa after Jacques Kallis and twelfth batsman in the world to cross the mark in test match cricket.
Smith completed his nine thousand runs in 119.2 overs off Zulfiquar Babar. He took two runs to reach the mark. He also reached his fifth double century and nine thousand runs in test matches.
Graeme smith has played 112 test matches. In his 195 innings he has score 27 test match century.
Likewise he has played 193 ODIs and has scored 6942 runs with 10 centuries.
