National team middle order batsman Sharad Veswakar is leaving for the US to play club cricket.
Sharad is yet to confirm the news about his departure. But the source close to the batsman have confirmed about his status.
Sharad will play for a club in Texas. The details of his tour and the nature of the game he is playing is yet to be known.
Sharad previously had already played in England with Mumbai based club Zaishree in the past.
National team skipper Paras Khadka, vice-captain Gyanendra Malla and left arm spinner Basant Regmi had played a season each in Canada’s professional cricket league.
The national team is preparing for the upcoming 17th Asian Games.
