Bangladesh all rounder Shakib Al Hasan is all set to get his No Objection Certificate (NOC) to play overseas club tournament soon. President of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Nazmul Hassan confirmed about the news.
Hassan confirmed that Shakib is all set to get his NOC by Thursday which means he will be participating in this season of Big Bash League in Australia which starts from December 18.
Shakib who had played two matches for Adeliade Strikers in 2013-14 seasons was banned by BCB on July 7 as a disciplinary action. He was ban to play for his country for six months and was told that he won’t be granted NOC to play in overseas tournaments until end of 2015.
But on August 26 BCB reduced ban of Shakib to three and half months and let him play after September 15.
It is believed that after his brilliant performance in the series against Zimbabwe which Bangladesh white washed the five match ODI series and three match test series, Shakib was sure to get NOC to play overseas tournaments.
