Nepal’s three-match Twenty20 International Series against Hong Kong has been called off due to rain and instead the two teams have been given to play one 50-over game and another Twenty20 International.

According to a source in Colombo, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has arranged for a one-day match at the Army grounds in Colombo onNovember 23 and a Twenty20 International at the P Sara Stadium in Colombo on November 24.
Following continuous rain, Friday’s reserve day was abandoned earlier than the previous two days before a ball being bowled. The ACC was trying to give all three Twenty20 International matches to the two teams beginning from Friday in expense of the 50-over game that was set for November 24.
However with rain refusing to give up in Dambulla, the entire series had to be called off. Since a Twenty20 match needs to get an T20 international venue recognized by the ICC, P Sara was chose for Nepal’s November 24 game.
