Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has been hospitalised after he contracted Corona Virus two days ago. Sandeep had informed through his social media pages that he tested positive for the virus and was under self isolation.
He was hospitalised on Sunday but his healt condition is normal. According to his manager Raman Shiwakoti, Sandeep went to HAMS Hospital since he has been staying alone and there was no one to take care of him.
“He has been under self isolation and decided to go hospital because there was no one to look after him at home. He doesn’t have any issues with his health and is asymptomatic, Raman told cricketingnepal.
Raman himself has been under self isolation after testing positive a week ago. Earlier, three national team members including skipper Gyanendra Malla, were also tested positive but returned negative results just three days later. Veteran left arm spinner Basanta Regmi, meanwhile, is yet to return with negative result.
Vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee and emerging cricketer Rohit Kumar Paudel were among the trio to return negative results. All three cricketers have already joined the national team closed-camp that began last Thursday.
