SA tumbles against India on day two

South Africa is in risk of loosing the first test match when their batting line up collapse against Indian fast bowler and are 213 for loss of six wickets in the second day on Thursday.


South Africa started pretty will while they batted in reply of 280 run India made in the first inning. They were once 130 for one and as the middle order collapsed they were 146 for six.


A good partnership of 67 runs between Vernon Philander and Faf du Plessis for the seventh wicket took the gap less and brought some hope in the home side. Number eight batsman Philander was not out on 48 while Faf remained unbeaten on 17 at the end of day two.


Captain Graeme Smith was the highest run scorer for South Africa with 68 runs. Fast bowlers Ishant Sharma three for 64 and Mohammed Shami two for 48 destroyed South African inning.


India started the second day play with 255 for five. But they could just add 16 run on the board on the day two their team collapsed to 280 all out.
