South Africa is in top in spite of century from Virat Kohli during the first test match against India played at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on Wednesday.
India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. At the end of the day one India made 255 for five in 90 overs.
Virat Kohli who came to bat on number four after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar retirement helped India to put some runs in the board. In one end Kohli was playing good game of cricket while another end suffered for wickets in regular interval.
Kohli who reached his fifth test century made 119 runs before being caught out from JP Duminy off Jacques Kallis.
At the end of day one play Ajinkya Rahane was not out on 43 while captain Dhoni was not out on 17 runs.
