SA on control with Amla ton on day one

South Africa has made 245 runs with the loss of eight wickets at the end of first day of first Test match against Pakistan at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE on Monday.


South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. South Africian could not start the inning quite well. But Hasim Amla again stood against Pakistan bowlers.


Amla who scored his 20th century of carrier is not out on 118 runs from 250 balls. During his inning Amla scored 13 boundaries.


Amla was given support by JP Duminy who scored 57 runs of 94 deliveries. Amla and Duminy added 95 runs for fifth wicket partnership.


Zulfiqar Babar who has debuted in this match for Pakistan took three wickets while Mohammad Irfan took two wickets.


At the end of day one Amla is not out on 118 runs while Dayle Steyn is not out on 13 runs.
