New Zealand batsman Jesse Ryder will return to the pitch to play top level game next week after a year.
Ryder, who is 29 years old will play his first class game from his new team Otago against his former team Wellinggton.
Ryder has been out of cricket for a year. He was out of cricketing world for the first six month as he survived an attack outside Christchurch bar that took him to coma with fractured skull and injured rib. He himself claims to be lucky to get his new life.
As he was getting recovery from his injury of attack he was banned for six month on April 19 after he was tested positive for using banned component.
