Australian right handed fast bowler Kane Richardson has pulled himself out ahead of this season of Indian Premier League (IPL) which will kick-off from April 8. Richardson has cited it as his personal reason to pull himself out of the tournament which starts in five days time.
Richardson was retained by Rajasthan Royals ahead of 2015 season. The 24 years old fast bowler had seven matches for Rajasthan Royals in 2014 season of IPL. In his seven matches he took eleven wickets at an economy rate of 7.9 run per overs.
Rajasthan Royals has not mentioned any name of his replacement but it is expected that they will not be adding name in the squad as they do have plenty of other fast bowlers like Time Southee, James Faulkner, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rusty Theron, Chris Morris, Ben Cutting, Stuart Binny, including captain of the team Shane Watson himself.
Richarson has played eight ODIs for Australia and has eight wickets in his name while he has a wicket in his name from two T20 Internationals.
Playing for Adelaide Strikers in Australian Big Bash League Richardson took ten wickets in nine matches he played.
