Royal Challengers Bangalore has retained Indian batsman Virat Kholi, West Indies batsman Chris Gayle and South African batsman AD De Villiers for 2014 season for IPL.
Kohli was retained by RCB with 125 million Indian Rupees while Gayle was given 95 million and AB was retained with 75 million rupees.
Kohli who led RCB in 2013 is the one of the leading run scorer in 2013 in ODI had scored 634 runs for his franchise.
Gayle one of the most destructive batsmen was in the second of most run scorer in IPL with 708 runs. Gayle also smashed a world record 175 not out against Pune Warriors in just 66 balls in 2013 season.
De Villiers who is regarded as the finest cricket player who suits all version of cricket had scored 360 runs in 2013 batting as a lower order batsman.
With a surprise RCB appointed their former captain Daniel Vettori as their head coach while former south African fast bowler Allan Donald as their bowling coach.
Trent Woodhill who is currently in the job as David Warner’s personal batting coach was named as RCB’s batting coach.
