order batsman Ambati Rayudu has been out of team for the third One Day
International and two T20 International against Zimbabwe after he sustained injury.
According to a
media release issued by BCCI, 29 years old Rayudu has suffered right quadriceps
muscles injury during second ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare.
In absence of
Rayudu India will have shortage of batsmen as India is touring with some of
their experienced players like Captain MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kholi,
batted at number three in two ODIs made 124 not out and 41 runs respectively in
first and second ODIs. With the help of his not out 124 runs India won the
match by four runs.
announced Sanju Samson as the replacement of Rayudu for India’s remaining one ODIs
and two T20 Internationals.
