Rain interrupted the only T20 between Bangladesh and West Indies

The only T20 match between the host West Indies and Bangladesh ended without result after the rain interrupted the play in the match held at Warner Park, Basseterre, St. Kitts.


In the match Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. As Bangladesh had made 31 runs without losing any wickets in 4.4 overs it started raining heavily. As the play could not be resumed because of weight outfield then umpires decided to end the game without result.  


Opener duo Tamim Iqbal was batting on 11 playing nine balls with a four while another opener Anamul Haque was batting on 19 runs playing 19 balls with a four and a six.


Now West Indies will meet on two test matches series which will start from September five at Kingstown.
