Public Youth Campus is set to organise the PYC Inter-college BBA Twenty20 cricket tournament from March 4.
The yearly tournament that began under the initiation of BBA colleges affiliated to Tribhuvan University is organised by the defending champions. Shankar Dev Campus had organised the previous edition won by Public Youth.
A total of 17 BBA colleges from across the country will be participating in the tournament which will be held at the Mulpani Cricket Ground. Public Youth has given all the management rights to Chand Brothers Pvt Ltd.
“We are happy to organise a tournament of this magnitude. It will add another experience for us as event managers having previously looked after different national and regional sports tournaments,” said Rabindra Chand, Managing Director with Chand Brothers.
“We are just days away from the tournament and have completed all the preparations. We are expecting a very competitive and qualitative tournament at the Mulpani Cricket Grounds,” he added.
Chand Brothers has also roped in EduQuest College and Excelsia College as its joint main title sponsors.
The champions will receive Rs 85,000 and the runners-up will take Rs 35,000. Cash prizes are also set aside for the man-of-the-series, best batsman and best bowler.
