Public Youth Campus and Universal College won their respective matches on Thames Inter-College (BBA Cup) cricket tournament held at Army Cricket Ground, Bhaktapur on Friday.
In the first match, Public Youth defeated host Thames International College by 20 runs in the match which was reduced to 13 overs per side.

Chasing a target of 99 runs, Thames were reduced to 78 for eight in their 13 overs. Kalyan Lamichhane of Thames made 30 runs in 32 balls but could not help his team win the match. Man of the match Roman Tandukar who took the wicket of Lamichhane booked three wickets in his name while Dipendra Yadav also sent three batsman to the pavilion to help his team take two points.
Earlier Public Youth made 98 for 5 in 13 overs after Thames won the toss and elected to field first.
Rabin Koirala , highest run scorer for his team remained not out on 35 runs playing 27 balls with one four and two sixes added 51 runs for fifth wicket with Shital Mainali who was run out making 25 runs.
In the second match of the day, Universal College defeated Prime College by 37 runs in the match which was reduced to 17 overs per side.

Universal made 136 losing their all ten wickets in 17 overs after wining the toss end electing to bat first.
Opening batsman Nischal Karki, who was awarded with man of the match award was the highest run scorer for Universal who was run out making 45 runs. Universal got 39 runs as extra,
Chasing a target of 137 runs Prime were all out for 99 runs in 16.4 overs.
