National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka said he will quit playing for Nepal if Pubudu Dassanayake is resigned as the country’s coach.
Paras’ words came after the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Monday said it was unable to give extension to Dassanayake because of financial crisis.
“Good evening Family, Friends, Fans and Everyone..If we want to take Nepal Cricket further we Need Pubudu Dassanayake at any cost and if that doesnt happen than I will also not be able to continue playing for Nepal any further …Would like to thank everyone for the Constant Support during all the ups and downs..
Jai Nepal..!!” a facebook status of Paras said soon after CAN’s decision.
Dassanayake’s contract is expiring today.
