National cricket team skipper Paras Khadka will be one of the stars absent from Nepal as the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has prepared a final 13-member squad for the Bat For Nepal match in Malaysia.
The one-day event at the Kinrara Oval onwill see Nepal taking on a World XI side hosted by the Malaysian Cricket Association to raise funds for the Earthquake victims of Nepal.
Gyanendra Malla will lead the Nepali side that will also miss frontline spinners Shakti Gauchan and Basanta Regmi.
Out for form batsmen Subash Khakurel and Binod Bhandari will also be miss the game along with Mahesh Chhetri and Prithu Baskota. Prithu and Mahesh are in the national team squad for the ICC World Cricket League Championship matches against Scotland.
Rahul Kumar BK and Bhuwan Karki will replace Shakti and Basanta respectively in the squad. Naresh Budayair has been included in the team along with under 19 captain and wicket keeper batsman Raju Rijal.
Under 19 players Kamal Airee and Aarif Sheikh also have a spot in the team.
