As Pakistan batsman once again played some superb inning Pakistan won the third One Day International (ODI) against Sri Lanka by 113 runs. With this win Pakistan lead the five match ODI series 2-1.
Mohammad Hafeez once again played a good knock of 140 not out, Pakistan made a huge total of 326 runs with the loss of five wickets.
Pakistan loosing the toss batted first and started badly losing Sharjeel Khan on two in 2.6 over.
After that Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad (81) gave a solid partnership of 160 for second wicket to make sure that Pakistan put a huge target.
Man of the match Hafeez who had scored a century in second ODI also, played 136 ball with 11 boundaries and three sixes.
Captain Misbah-ul-Haq made quick fire 40 off 26 ball and Umar Akmal also managed to make 23 off 12 balls.
Chasing the huge target of 327 runs Sri Lanka was bowled out on 44.4 over and just could manage to make 213 runs.
Umar Gul who came into international cricket after nine months stated well picking up two wickets in the starting and finished with three wickets in the match.
Now Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play in the fourth ODI to be held at Abu Dhabi on December 25.
