Second day of second test match between Pakistan and New Zealand has been delayed by a day after the sad demise of Australian batsman Phillip Hughes on Thursday morning at St Vincent Hospital in Sydney. The match which is being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium will resume from Friday.
After the meeting between Pakistan cricket team and New Zealand cricket team the match was delayed by a day and an extra day has been added for the match. As both the team was about to take the ground they heard the news about the untimely death of Hughes and discussed for an hour and decided not to play the match for today.
Phillip Hughes who was immediately taken to the hospital after an bouncer from Sean Abbott hit his head during a match on Sheffild Sheild at Sydney Cricket Ground and laid down in the pitch in an unconscious situation on Tuesday dies at the hospital today morning. Doctor had done surgery to less down the pressure in his brain.
