Pakistan PM dissolve cricket board

Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan has dissolved the Governing body of Cricket in Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday.

 

Sharif is now the new Patron of PCB and has formed new Interim Management Committee which consists of five members.  Najam Sethi has been appointed as the acting Chairman of PCB. Other members of board are Shahryar Khan, former Chairman of PCB, Zaheer Abbas, former player of Pakistan, Haroon Rasheed former player of Pakistan and Naved Cheema, former team manager of Pakistan team.

 

Sethi who was been working as caretaker chairman of PCB since July this year was elected as chairman as directed by the PM Sharif to choose one out of five for the post. Sethi will also represent Pakistan in the upcoming ICC board meeting to be held on October 18 and 19 at London.
