Pakistan on top on second day

Pakistan lead South African by 14 runs at the end of day two with seven wickets remaining on the first inning of first test match at Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

 

Pakistan made 263 with the loss of three wickets as Khurram Manzoor made 131 not out till the end of the game. Manzoor who made his maiden test century played 244 balls and hit 14 boundaries.

 

Likewise debutant Shan Masood also made 75 runs before being trapped lbw of JP Duminy while Captain Misbah-ul-Haq is also not out on 44 at the end of the day.

 

South Africa had started the second day of first inning with 245 for eight. But after adding four more runs in the board they were all out and could make only 249. Hasim Amla who was not out on 118 runs on first day just played two ball without adding a run.
