Pakistan clinched the series by 2-0

Pakistan won second and last T20 International match by 19 runs and clinched series against Zimbabwe by 2-0. Thanks to brilliant know by Mohammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad who made partnership of 143 for the second wicket.

 

Shehzad who scored half-century in the first T20 made 98 runs in second match where Zimbabwe won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. Decision of Zimbabwe to bowl first was made wrong by Pakistani batsmen played good cricket.

 

Shehzad made 98 runs and remained not out of just 64 ball with six sixes and six fours. Captain Hafeez who came to bat in first down also made half century. Hafeez made 54 runs of 40 balls with three fours and two sixes.

 

Zimbabwe came to bat first with the target of 180 runs in 20 overs. But they could just make 160 runs in  20 overs with the loss of six wickets. Masakadza was the top scorer for Zimbabwe who made 41 runs of 32 balls.

 

Mohammed Hafeez of Pakistan was the overs. Zulfiqar Babar also took two wickets while Anwar Ali booked a wicket in his name.

 

Ahmed Shehzad who was just two runs behind his t20 century was elected as man of the match and also man of the series.

 

Now Zimbabwe and Pakistan will face in three match one day series which will start from August 27 at Harare Sports Club.
