Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has now joined hands Samyak Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd and Nirvana Wellness Centre for providing medical check-up to Nepali national cricket players for a period of one year.
CAN signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with both Samyak and Nirvana organizing a program at Samyak Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur on Sunday. Chief Executive Officer of CAN, Bhawana Ghimire and Uttam Karmacharya, acting General Secretary of CAN signed MoU for CAN while Dr. Kyur Gautam, Director of Samyak Diagnostic Centre and Sajan Gopal Vaidya, Director of, Nirvana Wellness center signed for their companies.
The contract will work for a period of one year time, i.e. 2015 and will be available only for the senior players who are currently under central contract of CAN. Samyak and Nirvana will also provide medical facilities to families of cricket player with 40 percent discount. According to the contract players will get their whole body checkup twice in a year and will get other medical counseling and facilities throughout the year.
Speaking during the program Dr Kyur and Sajan Gopal promised to increase their sponsorship in the future. They informed that though this is for a year at this time they will continue their contract and will be increasing facilities to players and their parents.
Uttam Karmacharya, acting General Secretary thanked Samyak and. for supporting cricket players.
CEO Bhawana Ghimire thanked both the companies for loving and helping cricket especially Nepali cricket player providing them and their families with medical facilities. Ghimire further thanked them saying that their sponsorship will motivate player to work harder in the field.
