Nepal’s one-off practice match against Bermuda-XI ahead of the ICC World Cricket League Division-III has been called off due to wet outfield.
According to the team’s video analyst Raman Shiwakoti, the ground condition was not perfect for the match following the overnight rain. Nepali boys – who will begin their Division-III campaign with a match against the USA on April 28 – joined a practice session at the Rangers Club Ground following the friendly abandonment.
Nepal had left for the Bermuda earlier than the tournament schedule to acclimatise themselves with the local conditions. Bermuda, Uganda Oman and Italy are the other teams in the Division-III where top two teams after the round robin league reach the 2014 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
