Nepal will be playing their seventh and final round matches of the ICC World Cricket League Championship (WCLC) against United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December.
According to a source, the matches against the Emirati team is scheduled to be held on December 6 and 8 in Dubai. Although the final stage match of the eight-team tournament was supposed to be held at a neutral venue, the match is going to take place in the UAE capital.
Nepal are currently in the sixth spot of the WCLC with eight points from five round matches and are playing away to Hong Kong on October 13 and 15. Namibia and UAE are behind Nepal on four points.
Netherlands currently lead the points table with 16 points from 10 games, while Papua New Guinea (14), Scotland (13) and Hong Kong (11) are in the top four.
Kenya are ahead of Nepal with 10 points. The WCLC also serves as the qualifiers for the 2018 50-over World Cup Qualifiers as the top four teams from the tournament are guaranteed those spots.
To round up inside the top four, Nepal are under pressure to win all their remaining chances.
