Nepali U-19 to train in India for Qualifiers

The Nepali U-19 team preparing for the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers will undergo training in New Delhi.

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) Chief Executive Officer Bhawana Ghimire said Nepal undergo a fortnight training in New Delhi from September 26 before returning on October 10.

The World Cup Qualifiers is scheduled from October 14-23 in Malaysia from where only one out of five participating teams will qualify for the 2016 U-19 World Cup in Bangladesh.

Nepal will play up to six or seven matches against the age group and local clubs of New Delhi apart from undergoing several training sessions. CAN on Thursday announced the final 14-member squad for the tournament.
