Nepal versus Malaysia: Head-to-Head

Malaysia come into the tournament having beaten Nepal in their previous Twenty20 International that took place in Thailand during the ACC Twenty20 Eastern Region Asia Cup Qualifiers.

The two teams have played against each other four times in the Twenty20 Internationals with Nepal winning three of them. Before the ICC approved all Twenty20 matches between its members as Internationals, Nepal and Malaysia met thrice with the former also winning two matches.

In overall meetings, Nepal have a 5-2 edge. The matches that didn’t have Twenty20 International came during the ACC Twenty20 Cup of 2007, 2009 and 2013. Ahead of the Tri-Nation Series, here is how the two teams fared:
