The ACC Premier League in Malaysia will begin with the clash between the joint defending champions when Nepal meets the United Arab Emirates at the Selangor Turf Club (STC) in Malaysia on May 1.
Both teams last met in the final of the tournament which was then known as ACC Trophy Elite and was played under league-cum-knockout format. The thrilling final had ended in a dramatic tie.
According to the asiancricket.org, six teams will battle it out in the new format of round robin league basis with Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman and Malaysia being the other four teams to try out their luck in the tournament slated for May 1-7.
Nepal will next meet hosts Malaysia at the Bayuemas Oval on May and play Oman on May 4 at the STC. Associate archrivals are next opponents for Nepal on May 5 and the biggest clash will be against Afghanistan at the Kinrara Oval on May 7.
