Nepal U19 confident against Bhutan U19

Nepal U19 will meet Bhutan U19 in their
second match of ACC U19 Asia Cup Qualifiers, Eastern Region on Wednesday at Kinrara
Oval in Kulalampur. The match will start at 7:15 NST.

In the first match of the tournament Nepal
thrashed Thailand by a huge margin of 255 after a half century from Anil Kumar
Sah and Pranit Thapa Magar later on destroying by Sandeep Lamichhane who took
seven wickets in four overs conceding six runs.

Head coach of U19 team Binod Das will be
pretty confident with his boys winning tomorrow’s match against Bhutan. He hopes
his team will perform as they did against Thailand in the first match. “We
need to focus on one match at a time. Our next focus is to win the match
against Bhutan. Openers should think of contributing 20-30 runs. Then middle
order should think of making half century or century. By this we can make a
good score on the board which will certainly help us to win the match,”
says the coach.

Dipendra Singh Airee, captain of the team
is also confident of his team mate performing in the next match too as what
they did in the last match. Captain further describes, “I do not know much
about Bhutan. But If we continued the performance we did against Thailand we will
surely win the match. Our main target is to get qualified for the U19 Asia Cup.
So we should win this tournament. So wining Butan is our next step toward
getting qualified for Asia Cup.”
