Nepal to play MCC at Lord’s on July 16

Nepal will play Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at the Lord’s on July 16.

MCC had earlier decided to host Nepal in the match that will mark the 200-year bilateral relationship but the date for it was yet to be fixed.

“The match will take place the day after the scheduled final day of the England v Pakistan Investec Test match,” MCC said in its website.

“It will be the first time MCC have played Nepal at Lord’s and the teams will play the 50-over match on the same pitch that was used for the Test match. MCC toured Nepal as recently as November 2015 and the Club continues to enjoy a strong relationship with Cricket Association Nepal.”

MCC visited Nepal in November playing six matches in different format with various teams. The Nepal-touring MCC team was led by Neil Dexter. MCC is yet to declare their captain for the match at Lord’s.
