Nepal were drawn alongside Test giants India and Bangladesh in the ACC U-19 Asia Cup that is beginning from in Malaysia.
Pitted in Group ‘A’, hosts Malaysia are the fourth team in the pool from where only the top two finishers make it to the semi-finals.
Group ‘B’ consists of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and will be joined the winners from the ongoing ACC U-19 Western Region tournament. Malaysia are also hosting the Western Region tournament that concludes on.
Nepal had qualified for the U-19 Asia Cup after they claimed the Western Region tournament – also in Malaysia – defeating Hong Kong on.
Nepal will open their tournament campaign taking on Bangladesh on at the Kinrara Oval and play India the next day at the Bayuemas Oval. The final league match against Malaysia will be played at the Bayuemas on .
