Nepal women cricket team has to defend the target of 65 runs during their first match of the Asian Games against Thailand as they were bundled on 64 runs in the match held at Yeonhui Cricket Ground, Incheon, South Korea on Sunday.

Thailand Women won the toss and elected to field first. Coming to bat first Nepal women’s innings were collapsed just making 64 runs in 20 overs loosing eight wickets.
Former captain Nary Thapa was the highest run scorer for Nepal who made 18 ball while Mamata Chaudhary scored 17 runs. Apart from those two batswomen none of the batswomen was able to reach the double digit.
Kajol Shrestha (3), Sita Rana Magar (1), Sarita Magar (0), Rubina Chhetri (1),Rekha Rawal (2) and Karuna Bhandar (3) were the other batswomen who got out while Indu Verma remained not out on six runs.
