Nepal to chase 21 runs

Nepal will chase a target of 21 runs against Kuwait in their first match of 17 Asian Games against Kuwait at Yeonhui Cricket Ground, Incheon, South Korea today.


Kuwait who elected to bat first after winning the toss were bundled for just 20 in just 13.2 overs.


Kuwait inning was dismissed by Basant Regmi, Som Pal Kami and Sagar Pun. Opening bowler Som Pal took three wickets in four overs conceding just four runs. Pun then slammed two wickets in three overs conceding seven runs. Then it was the turn of Regmi. Regmi just bowled 1.2 overs and took three wickets conceding just a single. Two batsmen were run out.


None of the Kuwait batsmen were able to cross double digit while five batsmen even could not open their account. Kuwait got seven runs in extra more than that of the highest run scorer.
