Nepal made 265 against Kenya
Nepal gave the target of 266 runs to Kenya in their second warm up match on ICC World Cup Qualifiers at St. Andrew’s College, Christchurch on Saturday.
After winning the toss Nepal elected to bat first and made 265 runs with the loss of eight wickets in their 50 overs.
Anil Mandal was the highest run scorer for Nepal who made 62 runs from 65 balls with 11 fours in his name.
Binod Bhandari who played a knock of half century against Namibia made a quick fire 48 runs of just 39 balls with 8 boundaries.
Pradeep Airee who came to bat at number eight for Nepal also made 42 runs in 38 balls with four fours and a six.
Similarly Mahesh Chhetri (6), Sagar Pun (13), Gyanendra Malla (14), Sharad Vesawkar, (23), Prithu Baskota (21) contributed to make big score for Nepal.
Basant Regmi and Shakti Gauchan who remained unbeaten made 23 and five runs continuously while the former played just 17 ball and hit four fours.
